CULTventures was founded by German national, Matthias Bartholdi, who has lived and worked for over 16 years in Africa. His great knowledge of the Sahel countries and long experience travelling in the desert motivated him to establish a travel company for free spirited curious adventurers. Since 1979 Matthias has explored the beauty and diversity of the African continent forming CULTventures to bring the fabulous mixture of culture and adventure to the adventurous at heart. Travellers with CULTventures not only experience the continents beautiful scenery but delve deeper into the historical, political and cultural backgrounds with CULTventure's highly educated tour guides. Tours being conducted in both German and English languages. There's never a dull moment with CULTventures as we travel where others don't. Along adventurous roads and dirt tracks keeps the tension and fascinations high. As a CULTventures traveller you will be one of only a small group either in our own ruggedised vehicles (max. 10 persons), or as a party member in your own vehicle (max of 3 tagalong vehicles).
